Introduction to Finality, my very first review.

Okay, I know it's crazy late in the game, but I decided starting next season I am going to be doing episode reviews of my favorite shows, and to get some practice (and for fun) I decided to start by keeping myself occupied during the summer time. So anyway, here goes nothing. Enjoy!

The past two seasons, Dan Harmon and his team have left us amazed with their full on ability to do finales. This season was no different.
Season one finished off with Pascal's Triangle Revisited (note the word play) when Britta announces her love for Jeff in front of the entire school, season two finished off with A Fist Full of Paintballs (PT 1) and For a Few Paintballs More (PT 2) which was an *epic* rendition of yet another paintball episode with an homage to western movies in part one, to a star wars homage after (Awesome!)

ItF was the third installment of NBC's three episode Community block but I will get onto those episodes another time into much more detail. When writing the triage, Harmon and his team brought out the very best of Community, first the complete ridiculousness (that we all know and love) , of an old school video game theme, an homage to my favorite movie of all time (Ocean's Eleven) and finishing off with ItF, a heartfelt episode chock full of perfection.
Need I say more?

The great thing about Community is it can bring back past episodes in the ever so slight manner...or maybe just throw it right in your face still equally as awesome.
This time around they did it, and they did it with the expected Community-esque feel.
Each moment of the finale was an homage to Community itself reminding us why we love it with each word that came out of each (Yes...even Pierce) characters mouth.
Take a look to your left, and yo will see the wonderful Dean Pelton, played by Jim Rash. His costumes returned full force as expected with this episode with quotes such as "Building to big news!" while dressed as a "sexy construction worker" (still waiting to meet the sister you don't have Craig) or afterwards the "I need an alpine costume".
Naturally everything became "Britta'd" once the blonde opened her mouth by saying "Hey what's the worst that can happen?" when on her way to help Abed get through his lack of Troy issues. Really Britta? Thanks.
Cutting to the H-Vac school, Troy misses his friends while in class which is important, but nearly as awesome as this little gem right...here. Recognize that? Once again, a remembrance to a past movie Jarhead (for those of you late to class, replace Limpken wrench with "rifle")
Of course we cannot forget a personal favorite of mine, John Goodman as Vice Dean Laybourne , who came, gave a nice pot hint (the sun chamber!) saw and...died. It did add a bit more logic to this wacky school though when Troy showed his realistic side "This is a trade school for a two year degree for boxes that make rooms cold!" It just adds to show how now matter how crazy Community may seem, (and Harmon) there is always a "logical" explanation...or something like that. Naturally this theory didn't stand ground when Troy challenges the new vice dean to a battle in the "sun room", they go to leave Laybourne's murderer to die of heat exhaustion and instead go to "send him to the council" (whoever that is) but Troy mentions "No. He killed someone. Turn him into the police"

Meanwhile (sort of)
Dean Pelton had stirred up quite the war (second one this season) between Shirley and Pierce in
The Case of the Sandwich Signature
Some notables:
Pierce's bookcase cover up!
Jeff being so "serious" about mitosis
"I was born in a courtroom, sued for my placenta and WON!" Oh Pierce Hawthorne you old dog
Pierce's racist joke we didn't get to hear.
Rest in Peace Ted (sorry Drew Carey)
Blind Justice, yet another hilarious Dean Pelton costume <3
Naturally, this story line ended up with  am infamous Winger speech (which as always, runs itself in a circle, gotta love Jeff!)
Ending it with "Throw this case out of court, it's dumb. That is all."

To carry onward to the third and last piece of the finale.
Britta spends some time with Abed, to talk about his problems (a nice psych session...right? Remember...what's the worst that can happen??)
Well, turns out Evil Abed wants to bring darkness to this timeline, he "chats" with Britta, bringing us to learn that Britta dropped out of high school because of a man in a green dinosaur costume.
Does this look familiar?
Evil Abed decides to reek havoc on Greendale Community College, while saying "cruel, cruel cruel cruel"
However, after hearing Jeff's speech, decided not to cut off his arm (aww what a good guy!). So yay happy ending! .....Right?
Shirley and Pierce have Jeff sign for the sandwich shop and yay! Troy returned! After a cute moment between Troy and Abed, and another cute moment between Britta and Troy....
The end...Or was it???

We soon learn the true finale of the finality. Could the writers have been preparing for this to be the final season of Community? I'm thinking so. The episode ending with some really sweet closing mini scenes;
+Jeff passed his test
+The Dean of City College is still planning a takeover (While Change watches from the vents...ps...did anyone else notice that the flag for City College is a penis??)
+Jeff begins to look for his father
+Starburns lives!!!!
andlastly,
+Abed takes down the dreamatorium...or does he??

#sixseasonsandamovie!!

 (see...told you!)
